White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

My family always demands white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and tea when they visit. They're really easy to make and my vietnamese grandparent's love it.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies
  • 1 cup             unsalted butter softened (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup             granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup        brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp      vanilla extract
  • 2 large          eggs
  • 2 1/4 cup     all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp         salt
  • 1 tsp             baking soda
  • 1 bag            white chocolate chips(12 oz)
  • 1 cup            chopped macadamia nuts

One by one.

  1. Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees F.
  2. Sift together the flours, baking soda, and salt; set aside in a bowl.
  3. Chop the macadamia nuts.
  4. Combine butter and sugars in a large bowl until creamy.
  5. Add the eggs and vanilla extract into the mixture; Mix in until fully mixed.
  6. Slowly add the flour mixture into the butter mix; Mix in until fully mixed.
  7. Add chopped macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips; Mix until evenly distributed.
  8. Scoop the cookie mix with a spoon and place cookies 2 inches apart from each other; fill the baking sheet. Keep cookie scoops even and equal.
  9. Bake until a light golden color about 10-12 mins.
