My family always demands white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and tea when they visit. They're really easy to make and my vietnamese grandparent's love it.
White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened (2 sticks)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 bag white chocolate chips(12 oz)
- 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts
One by one.
- Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees F.
- Sift together the flours, baking soda, and salt; set aside in a bowl.
- Chop the macadamia nuts.
- Combine butter and sugars in a large bowl until creamy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract into the mixture; Mix in until fully mixed.
- Slowly add the flour mixture into the butter mix; Mix in until fully mixed.
- Add chopped macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips; Mix until evenly distributed.
- Scoop the cookie mix with a spoon and place cookies 2 inches apart from each other; fill the baking sheet. Keep cookie scoops even and equal.
- Bake until a light golden color about 10-12 mins.
